Why is Sunday the Most Segregated Day of the Week? #verge2012

"It is nearly SIN.....

It is one thing to be missional and talk about the mission of God, to see people reconciled to God, AND; it is another to see us reconciled one to another!

Rev. 5:9-10 "....sang a new song....from every tribe, language, people and nation...."

How do we diversify the church? 1. What does your staff look like? 2. What does your stage look like? 3. What does your community sound like?

How is it that we are on the cusp of globalization and yet our churches are mono-cultural, mono-ethnic, mono-racial, mono-social, etc.?

How is it that the world around the church is integrating but the church is not....

We have to lay down some of our preferences to see this become a reality. We can talk mission all day......he left HEAVEN....to take on the tangible mess of our world. So that, we could be RECONCILED back to God.

Reconciliation must proceed Incarnation.
Incarnation must proceed mission for our mission to have any diversification.

Have we given up a vision of the kingdom (Rev. 5) for our vision of the kingdom?

Gospel gives us so much more than that.....

While the culture build a tapestry of a beautiful mess, the church continues to segregate, distinguish and divide!

God has given us a picture of the Kingdom. The church must incarnate itself into many different cultures". --Leonce Crump
