Why? So people will actually see the Glory of God!
A word to think about for your own life:
S.A.C.R.I.L.E.G.E. = challenge inaccurate views of what others say is holy or sacred. This is the way Jesus walked. Jesus was sacrilegious with:
.....the scripture (Does our knowledge of scripture move us to be more like the Pharisees or more like Jesus? Does the scripture move us to be legalistic or missional?)
.....the sabbath (What if we canceled our Easter services to SERVE the poor?)
.....discipleship
Our world doesn't need more people telling them the MESSAGE in the same way, but sacrilegiously.
Incarnational mission is going as Jesus went.
