Living as Sent Ones

I recently was reading through twitter-sphere and stumbled upon this tweet. I've posted the link to the article and summarized the article below.

Here is the BIG IDEA taken from the following scripture:

You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16).

Here are 5 Habits to live as Sent Ones....

L. - Listen to the Spirit - pray throughout the day to be a person of peace and to discover people of peace a
I. -Invite others to share a meal - invest in those who are not-yet-followers of Jesus and followers of Jesus.
G. - Give a blessing - surprise people with God's kindness.
H. - Hear from the gospels - read the stories of Jesus regularly.
T. - Take inventory of the day - reflect on the Spirit's leading and next steps in the neighborhood.

Jesus sends us. Join him as HIS sent ones today.
