"There is a dysfunctional co-dependency in the Western Church between her leaders and people." - Neil_Cole
If this is true, how can leaders reimagine how to shepherd a people without creating co-dependency? What work of the ministry should capture leaders attention and affection to make disciples who exist to depend on Jesus and still find pastoring/shepherding from her leaders? Where does the codependency express itself the strongest in the church, in her gathering or in her scattering?
Disciples making disciples would be a good place for the church to begin.
