DISCIPLE MAKING
Using S.A.S.H.E.T. in the simple church movement provides space to know one another at a heart level. Church is family.

Done in churches of two(CO2 partner)..I'm here. I'm present
I'm all in....
CO2's do two things in a Disciple Making Relationship::
1. Check in at a heart level:: S.A.S.H.E.T. (coming to God as a child). It helps develop community. Speed bump allows you not to share. Set parameters. Rom.12, we weep with those who weep....
2. Repentance "repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand." 2Tim. 2, "....cleanse...instruments to be used by God". Intimacy will come when we humble ourselves before God. This is a key element.
...Asking God to search our heart...what do you need to confess? Trust is key. SASHET helps build trust.
Disciples are made in pairs and small groups....
PRAYER:::
picture of Mary and Martha....being still at Jesus feet. Intentional by.....
A. 24/7 prayer rooms ....IHOP. Create unity by praying together.
B. Early morning prayer
C. List people by name
D. Luke 10:2b ask God for laborers.
E. Armor up (Eph. 6)
F. Prayer walking, insights into your community.
G. Pray for 3 people Jesus misses the most.
WORD OF GOD as a love letter not a textbook. Giving them the word in large quantities 10-15 chapters a week. God begins to speak (Neil Cole, Cultivating a life for God):
A. When God speaks underline or highlight it.
B. Doesn't make sense - ? Mark it
C. Arrow it if it is something to obey
Scriptures are full of LIFE. They give me life.
Parable of the soils: 1 out of 4 are producing. Investing in those who want to run with the Father. Invest in those who are demonstrating Co2, repentance, prayer, engaging the word, etc.
LISTENING TO GOD
John 14:16, "another counselor....he will teach you....remind you what the son does."
What if listening to God becomes central to all we do? Jesus does only what he sees the father doing. Read the Book of Acts to see how the Spirit leading and guiding.
How do I listen:
1. Being still. Quite myself. Get still. Figure out what that is for you.
2. Fix your eyes on Jesus Heb. 12 Turn away from sin and turn to God. Ask him, "what does it look like for us to get together?"
3. Begin to listen to spontaneous thoughts, words, pictures, etc.
A. Wise counsel
B. Word of God
4. Write it down.
Mission comes out of hearing God's voice. In Acts, this is how the church operated. If when we gather, what if the head of the church spoke and we listened to his agenda.
