PORTLAND HAS 5 SBC CHURCHES IN THE URBAN CORE

On the NAMB webpage you will discover the Portland Metro has 1 SBC church for every 29,000 people. But, when you look at the urban core and the city of Portland itself, you will discover less than 5 SBC churches (excluding non-english speaking churches/church plants). 5!

PORTLAND needs more disciples willing to make new disciples which might become a new Church. Would you pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send more laborers to the Harvest fields of the urban core of Portland? As your pray, would you consider being the answer to that prayer?

Would you then consider adopting an  urban DWELLING, move into this "vaulted gated community" and start a missional community? We not only need more disciples but we need more urban disciple dwellers, living among, working beside and recreating with these urban dwellers.
