Seth Godin (@ThisIsSethsBlog) has a great post on EXPECTING applause vs. receiving applause. One puts value in MORE APPLAUSE and the other in a well crafted product (something you can control).
It is a post about work. Don't let others rob you of your craft. Don't blame others. Do your best whether you receive applause or not. Your work, whether for one, two or a thousand can still be beautiful despite the applause or lack of applause.
