Avoid This Financial Mistake

Recently, I tried to read a well known pastors article on giving.Unfortunately, I couldn't stomach it. It was the same old tired message. He beats you up for what you are not doing and then guilts you into a "proper" response to God with your tithe.

In this article, Casey Graham encourages you to take a more wholistic approach. Help them be good stewards of the other 90% in order to help them understand how to give God a tithe. He list some possible actions you might take.

It takes a plan to disciple around healthy financial habits. It will require more then a Sunday morning sermon series.

Yesterday, Nw Baptist lost a leader and an advocate of Godly stewardship -- Cecil Simms. He spoke at numerous churches promoting healthy, biblical stewardship. Thanks Cecil for loving God's mission and wanting financial stewardship for God's people.
