The early church set aside their best leaders to GO out from them and grow the Kingdom of God. They didn't send the leftovers, but their best. David Platt, addressing the sbc2011 said the temptation is to do this with our monetary resources as well , " Satan is just fine with us spending millions of dollars on buildings while giving the leftovers to the nations." Whether it is people or money, how will you cooperate with God in giving your best resources to the under-reached people in North America and around the world?
The scriptures go on to say.....
"4 Forced to leave home base, the followers of Jesus all became missionaries. Wherever they were scattered, they preached the Message about Jesus."
We need some of you to leave home or mobilize some of your best to leave home and become missionaries in places like Portland Oregon.
Would you join us in praying to the Lord of the Harvest to send out the best laborers from your church to our harvest fields in Portland?
