REPOST: The Least Churched Cities

Here is a repost of one of the most popular post on this blog.

Portland OR is #3 on the list of Cities with the largest share of unchurched adults (polled as: had not been to a religious worship service in the last 6 months) and .....

Portland OR is #2 on the list of Cities with the lowest share of self-identified Christians.

To read more of these findings go to....

Do we do more of the same or more which is "different" in order to capture the hearts of those God misses the most?

Missiologically, do we plant more churches to reach the already 42% of unchurched (formerly churched) people in Portland? Or, do we create forms of church to reach the 71% in Portland who have no identity with Jesus and His Way?

If we do both, should we weight our efforts toward one group more than the other? Should we budget our resources differently to accomplish this task?
