I have to admit. Writing a blog post is never easy. Personally, I don't feel compelled to have a philosophical or theological discourse in every post. I treat my blog post as conversation starters or as an informative piece.
This post from Alex on writing a blog is good. So, for all you bloggers and would be bloggers, I'm posting it here for you. Here are the big takeaways.....
1. Summarize the main argument of the post.
2. Briefly share from the original post (this is what I'm doing).
3. Explain why it is worth reading.
4. Suggest ways to make application of the original post.
5. Raise a concern, etc. ( I did this yesterday in a post on Seminaries).
6. Ask a question prompted by the blog ( I do this often ).
7. Point to another source.....

What application of this writing technique could you make to other disciplines or social media outlets?
