Great article on yahoo real estate on what Gen Y doesn't want in a home and how this is shaping an industry. For example....
* They don't want to be dependent on a car!
* They don't want soaker tubs!
* They don't want to mow the loan!
* They don't want a BIG house!
* They don't want a house in the suburbs! The suburbs will have to evolve to attract them.
* They don't want to get married and have a family very soon.
What do they want according to the article?
* They want to walk everywhere! And, they are willing to pay for it.
* They don't want a "cookie-cutter" type development!
* They want places to congregate! Common space.

What are the implications for houses of worship? Where will the focus of church planting need to take place to reach this 80 million Yers? Urban centers? Suburbs? How will churches in the Suburbs evolve to connect with the generation? What did you learn about the values of this generation after reading the article? Is it just about affordability or is there other issues at play?
